   I found this song on Ian Somerhalder(Damon in The Vampire Diaries)'s playlist on iTunes and I actually thought this was a recent hit till yesterday! If Wikipedia is correct, it was released before I was even born in the 80s! *haha*
   
   I still love it though!
   
   
2. Kids - MGMT
   
   For some reason.....sometimes I absolutely detest this song and sometimes I'm just crazy about it! Right now, I am so crazy and so obssesed with it!
   
   I just love the intro! It's contagious! *haha*
   
   
3. Dear God - Avenged Sevenfold
   
   I hate heavy metal bands. Metallica, Korn, Slipknot, you name it.
   
   HOWEVER, Avenged Sevenfold is definitely an exception!
   
   Why?! Because they can sing sentimental, touching songs like this one.
   
   Dear God is apparantly about their former drummer that passed away a few years ago. Trust me, if you like sad, emotional songs, you will fall in love with it.
   
   The guitar at the beginning is just so beautiful, it makes me cry!
   
   
4. Here we go again - Pixie Lott
   
   This is a little more pop than the other songs but I think I might be obssesed with Pixie.
   
   She sounds kind of like Lady Gaga, I guess. The tone of her voice.
   
   Of course, no one can beat Queen Gaga but this song just really sticks! I heard it in H&M the other day and knew straight away it was Pixie so I downloaded it as soon as I got home!
   
   
5. Thoughtless - Evanescence
   
   Mina introduced this song to me when we went to karaoke the other day!
   
   I've been in love with it ever since!
   
   It's a Korn cover but this Evanescence version is just perfect!
   Not too heavy but not too slow and quiet either.

What are you guys in to these days?!

Breakfast

Do you guys eat breakfast everyday??!

As much as I'd like to have a healthy routine and eat breakfast, I always end up skipping it!

Consequently, when I get to school, I am super hungry and I end up buying / eating something unhealthy:(

Better start eating properly or by the time I graduate uni, I will be a totally different person.....physically!!!

But till then....I am craving this penne:)*hehe*

Summertime

This year I think I'm really in to CROPPED TOPS!! (although I only own one! *hehe*)

I just love how it's so simple and easy to put together but kinda stylish at the same time!

I plan to invest in a few more!!

This is the only crop top that I have! It's from......ZARA of course! *hehe*
I bought it in January (for some reason) so it's been hiding in my closet for a while now but I think maybe in a few weeks I can wear it out! With a cardigan or something.....What do you think?!

This I found on some website. I love how they paired a crop top with high waist denim shorts! I gotta buy a pair of high waist denim shorts! *muahaha*

Kawaii! I am into stripes these days so stripes + crop top is just too hard to resist!

Today was a beautiful day wasn't it?!

I love going to school when the weather is good because Sophia is actually really pretty on a sunny day!

We had Computer Studies in the morning but we finished early so Miku, Ai, Mina and I sat at the benches under the sun and sun bathed:) and we totally succeeded in getting a tan!! *oh yeah*

Happy 25th Birthday!

Yesterday it was my sister's birthday!! *yay*

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNA!

I had class until 6:30 yesterday which was completely unnecessary considering the fact that I didn't learn anything.....but I was so excited about celebrating my sister's birthday, I literally ran home!!

Mummy made the usual Saudi Arabian dish!! It's like a Saudi Arabian Rice with potatoes, egglant, zucchini, peppers and chicken! I think it's like a tradition for us now to eat Saudi Arabian Rice for my sister's birthday! It was delicious like always and I already can't wait for next year......if there is a next year! *hehe*

As much as I would like to share with you readers what kind of dish this Saudi Arabian Rice is, I do not have a photo, unfortunately, that I can share with you (because the party started way before I got home and half of it was already gone!)

But let me tell you this......you would love it!

It's so weird me saying this but I can't believe my sister is 25!! (just like I can't believe I'm 19! *haha*)

In 5 years, you are going to be 30 Anna and I'm going to be 24! That's so scary :O

Hope we will still be as close as we are now!!

Naughty 19

First of all let me say, THANK YOU to all the people that sent me birthday wishes yesterday! I seriously felt so loved:) I had a great + amazing birthday, thanks to you guys!!

Till yesterday I thought that having a birthday in early April sucked because April is the beginning of the academic year in Japan and I selfishly believed that not many people would get to know me before my birthday and therefore, not celebrate it.

However, yesterday completely changed the way I percieved my birthday.

I literally couldn't stop smiling all day!

I went to school and people from FLA were just like "Happy Birthday" " Hope you have a great day!" They probably found out it was my birthday on Facebook and Mixi but the fact that they actually bothered to say something to me was just so heart-warming! Miku, Lorna, Mina and Ai even gave me presents! Something that I definitely was not expecting!

Plus alot of people from Oizumi texted me and sent me messages on Facebook + Mixi.

I just felt so blessed.

And dinner with my family just made my day complete!

My mother makes the best birthday dinners in my opinion because she really knows what her kids want and it may sound cheesy but I could taste the love she has for us! *hehe*

God I Hope I Make It

It's been three days since classes in Sophia and I am already so worried and anxious about the days ahead!

My schedule is not that bad....It's better than most of my friends apparently but the classes are pretty difficult and advanced, I'm so worried! But this is what I signed up for right?!!!

My Lunch

As much as I want to say I enjoy buying lunch at the cafeteria at my school.....

I can't because I don't:(

Why??!

1. It's expensive! 500 yen everyday is alot! That's 2500 yen a week:0

2. It's super crowded!

3. I am not a big fan of japanese lunch sets (定食)??! I'm very picky with food so I end up leaving at least one thing and it's mottainai!! (did you know that mottainai is officially an english word??!)

Due to these three points, I have decided to make my lunch for most days! And I mean it when I say I!!

My mother hasn't done anything for me and I like it that way! hehe

Yesterday I made a ham and cream cheese bagel which was delicious and I also cut up some celery!!

Today I made myself a salami and cream cheese bagel! I cut up celery like yesterday and also added oranges to my meal:)

I don't know how long me making lunch will last but hopefully it will be for a while!!

Nostalgia

I remember when I was younger and every year, before the new school year would start, I would go shopping with my mother and buy new stationary, folders, notebooks etc.

Today, although I wasn't with my mother, I felt like a little kid again.

Classes start tomorrow for me. So I decided to go buy a few new things for school.....

I couldn't choose which pen was better, the latest one with the "OSUSUME (recommended)" sign on it or the one that can be erased. I couldn't choose what colour folder to buy. I couldn't choose whether I should get a new pencil case (even though the one I have right now is relatively new!) I was constantly picking up things and putting them back.

It made me really nostalgic!! I kinda miss those days when the new year would begin and everyone would show off their latest purchases! I remember being jealous many times! *hehe*

Anyways, although I did feel like a kid, I realised how times have changed and how grown up I have become! I actually thoroughly thought about each item and whether I would use it or not! I put back the things I already had (something I would NEVER do when I was a kid!) I didn't buy a whole set of pens (something I LOVED!) I guess I have become more sensitive to the value of money! Thank God!

However, one thing that seemed the same was the way I felt! Excited and nervous! Excited about the new things I would learn! And nervous that I wouldn't be able to keep up! I guess these feelings never change.

The folders and stationary I bought today!

I got these notebooks at Costco!! 9 for like 1000 yen I think?!! I love that it's so simple!!

So tomorrow I have French and English Composition! I love French so I couldn't be more excited but English Composition with a bunch of people that are pro at English kinda scares me! But I think I'm just gonna have to face reality and realise that my English is never gonna be top level!! I guess that's what will make me work harder though!!

Anyways, how about you guys?! Have you started classes yet? Did you buy new stuff for school?!

Much Needed Sister Bonding

Today I didn't have school so I went shopping with my sister!! *yay*

It's been a while since we had some sister bonding time so I was super excited!

We went to Harajuku + Shibuya which was nice for a change.... I always end up going to Shinjuku for shopping!

And when we went to H&M, my sister was like "I'm gonna give you your birthday present now!"

I was like "Why?!!!"

But I love presents so I took it anyway!

And guess what it was?!!

A H&M gift card!!

My sister knows me soooooo well!! *hehe*

I can't wait to use it again!! I still have quite a bit left:)

Anyways, I was planning to buy boots and a bag for uni today but that unfortunately didn't happen :(

However, I did buy a few things that I'm glad I bought!!

This scarf is also from H&M! *hehe* You know the navy blue one I have that I put on quite often?! Well it's the same series! I'm glad I bought it cause I love the colour and the material!! It's perfect for spring!




















FINALMENTE!!! I know it's not warm enough to wear these black havianas but last summer I tried to buy a pair and couldn't and spent the rest of summer upset about not having them! The moment I set eyes on them today at Sony Plaza, I took it and bought it without even thinking for a second whether I want them this year! But I do....so I'm glad I got them!! *hehe*
