Lovely Pieces

So there's this site that I have been looking at alot these days.

It is an online store with tons of clothes and when I'm bored I just spend hours looking at all the lovely clothes, WISHING I had the money and a VISA to buy them! *haha*

Today I'm gonna post some pictures of a few dresses that I thought were hot just because I want to!

I am planning to buy a dress like this for summer!! What do you think?!
I love this colour and the shape is so simple but stylish. I wanna wear something like this for your wedding Anna! *haha*
Nanami wore a dress like this for graduation and I absolutely loved it! I love how these shapes makes your legs look thinner and longer! Maybe this is too short to wear in Japan though!
I love bold colours like this cobalt blue! This isn't actually a dress, it's a romper suit but let's just count it as a dress! I love the length of the sleeves and the belt. High waist belts also make your legs look longer!

Aah, my favourite colours put together! How could I NOT choose this one?! *lol* I think this kind of pink looks good on people with fairly dark skin. I love how hot pink looks on African American people! Don't you?

I want a dress like this because it can be worn in so many different ways. I love how it's not too tight and covers up your stomach! Muahaha!

This dress makes me want to go to beach! The colour and the shape is absolutely perfect for summer! Love IT:)

I'm sure most of you probably don't give a shit about what kind of dresses I like and why but this is the kind of stuff I'm gonna blog about so if it bores you than please don't hesitate to stop checking out my blog:)

Ciao!

P.S > I'm gonna blog in Japanese sometimes because like my sister said, it's important to also maintain my Japanese ability!!

After Tonight

When I have time, I love to search for videos on YouTube of people dancing to songs that I am into at that time.

And so when I was obsessed with Justin Nozuka a few months ago, I started to look for dances to his songs.

And VOILA!!

This is Kayce Aea and Moe Borromeo dancing to After Tonight by Justin Nozuka.

After thorough research, I believe the one on the right (Moe Borromeo) is the same girl that appeared in the "Still Standing" video I posted the other day! She's the one with the hat! Cool huh???

I love this dance! I wanna be able to dance like this!!

Just thought I'd share what I love with you guys!

"So take the photographs and still frames in your mind"

3 years ago, if you said to me "let's take a photo!" I would probably reject your offer cold-heartedly. Taking photos was always at the bottom of my list just because I am impatient and not exactly who you would call photogenic.

But these days as many of you might know, I am, I guess you could say OBSESSED with taking photos. Any moment I think is worth remembering, anything that I find is "pretty" or "nice", I will get out my camera and start taking photos.

I love how one photo can bring back so many memories and with just one photo you can reminisce for minutes, hours and days. (Well, maybe not days! *hehe*)

My room is covered with photos of people I love and although I've seen them a thousand times already, everytime I look at them, it gives me peace of mind. I am constantly reminded of how lucky I am to be surrounded by such amazing people and whenever I am down, sad or scared, I look at all the photos around me and I always feel better, even if it's just a little bit

One thing I truly regret is not taking enough photos of my last months in Singapore. I guess one of the reasons is because our family didn't own a digital camera at that time. But there was always the disposable camera right?!

If I could relive any time of my life, it would be those last few years in Singapore. Sometimes I try so hard to remember my last days. Where I went and what I wore etc. But I just can't and it kills me.

"If only I had taken more photos...."

Then maybe I would have been more grateful for the friends I had. And therefore would have made the necessary effort to keep in touch with them.

BUT I guess this regret will be the major factor in helping me keep in touch with my Oizumi friends. I now know how it feels to "lose" a friend I thought would be my friend forever and I NEVER want to feel this way ever again!

"Yes the past can hurt but the way I see it, you can either run from it or learn from it"

Some quote I found a while ago. Many times I choose to run but this time, I don't think so!

Happy 26th Anniversary To The BEST PARENTS Ever:)

Today is my mummy and daddy's 26th wedding anniversary!!

I love you both sooo much!

I would post a really nice picture of them 26 years ago but they'd probably kill me.....

So here's one of the family a few years back in Phuket!

This photo is sooo funny! Such a bad family photo though. *haha*

Nervous + Excited

So today I went to Shinjuku with my mama and auntie to buy clothes for Thursday!

In Japan, for some very weird reason, nearly everyone wears suits to their entrance ceremony. Despite the fact that there is no rule whatsoever saying you have to and no one will tell you off if you don't, people still wear suits.

I guess it just makes people feel calm because the majority will be wearing them and as we all know, Japanese people hate to stand out and love to blend in. However, I am not going to be one of those people.

This is how I'm gonna roll on Thursday! *haha*

Top = GAP

Black Trousers = ZARA

Jacket = BCBG (the same one I wore for my graduation)

Flats = Oriental Traffic (in Lumine EST)

I hope that I'm not the only one that's not going to be wearing a suit. But whether there is someone wearing something different or there isn't, I don't really care. There's no f**king way I'm getting into a suit for my entrance ceremony! I just look absolutely awful in it! (I tried yours Anna! And as much as I love the suit, I HATE how I looked!)

Yurina! You told me you're not gonna wear a suit either! I wanna see! P!I!C!T!U!R!E!!!!!PLEASE!

Ciao!

My Graduation Outfit

Because I had never had the chance to wear a dress to a formal event before (prom/formals didn't happen for me!), dressing up and looking good for graduation was a big deal for me.

Finding the perfect dress was such a hassle because I had a firm image of my outfit and no one could change that. My dress couldn't just be any dress, it had to be THE dress. That is how I felt. *haha*

I just couldn't stop imagining myself in a strapless, tight LBD (Little Black Dress), black jacket and hot pink wedge pumps.

The black jacket I found relatively easily. My sister, my mum and I went to the outlet in Gotenba and found a perfect fit from BCBG.

BUT all the LBDs that I came across had way too much detail or worse, none at all and the hot pink wedge pumps, I never came across.

And after shopping for days, weeks and months, I gave up. *haha* Well, to be exact, I just couldn't be f**ked to go out for a full day and look through racks of clothes and tons of shoes.

So I opted for a black high waisted skirt, a cute cheetah print top and black Christian Louboutin like shoes.

The result?! Two words.

NOT BAD!

Although sometimes I do wish that I had chosen a dress, I was/am pretty satisfied with this outfit. Plus, I think it was an appropriate outfit for a valedictorian! Don't you think?

Ciao!

P.S

For the after party, I just changed my top, skirt and accessories!

Tank top = Kitson

Skirt = American Apparel

Necklace = Some shop (Mastina or something) in Lumine Est

checking if this works.

JUST FOR YOU YURINA!

Although you are REALLY weird, I still love you! *haha*

Goodnight!

A Memorable Day with my Kichijoji Friends!

So one of the things I loved about living near Kichijoji during my high school years was that everyday I could go to school with the coolest and most down to earth people. That is, Yuki, Toshi and Rie.

Today we decided that we should hang out one last time before we start uni and become busy. We were gonna go visit Masaki-Sensei in the hospital but we figured the timing wasn't right. So we ended up doing a movie marathon at Yuki's place (we only watched two movies so technically it wasn't really a movie marathon!)

We watched Rush Hour and American Pie 7! (I thought American Pie ended at 3! *haha*)

Rush Hour is soooo funny! I've watched it like ten times already but it's soo much fun watching it with friends than when you are alone at home! I love the bit where the girl is like "Yeah, push the button!" *haha* Whoever hasn't watched it, seriously needs to get of their butt and go borrow/buy it!

American Pie 7 was okay. 5/10 for me. It was kinda awkward watching it with two guys in tow. *haha* With all the boobs and va**nas just out there, you know. But there were some funny bits so I guess it was worth the watch????!!

After watching two movies and eating like pigs, we felt kinda lazy so we went for a supposed-to-be-short-turned-long walk with Yuki's cute little dog, Leo.

Leo on Yuki's skateboard!

(Taken by self-timer)

I love this one of us!
(I couldn't climb the tree by the way! *haha*)

Although it was freaking cold today, I had an amazing time and it made me realize once again, how special the friends I made at Oizumi are!! I LOVE OIZUMI! and that will NEVER change! (hopefully!)

Anyways, here is a photo of the four of us when we went on a bicycle trip 2 years ago!

Loving The Military Look

So this morning I was flipping through some recent magazines and noticed alot of khaki, grey, brown colour based outfits. Is the military look back?! Cause if so, I need to go buy myself some new clothes! *haha*

Here are some military-like outfits that I absolutely adore!

Catt Sadler

I love this BEBE leather jacket! The colour is perfect for spring and the shorts and shoes are hot, HOT, HOTTTT!!
Check out Catt Sadler's stylist MONICA ROSE (who is also the stylist of the Kardashian sisters)'s blog here!

Kourtney Kardashian

I love this whole look. It's so effortless. The sunglasses, the white t-shirt, the khaki pants and the shoes.

Jennifer Aniston

This is one of Jennifer's outfits for her new movie The Bounty Hunter with Gerald Butler. It's such a simple look but so stylish at the same time. I found a pair of shoes just like the ones she is wearing here from Kari Ang the other day. Maybe I'll get them! *hehe*

What looks are you guys into these days?! Tell me! I wanna know!

Still Standing

So these days I've been listening to this song called Still Standing by Monica alot.
I first fell in love with it after watching this dance (video below) by Gigi Torres. Both the song and the dance is amazing. You have to check it out!

WOW right?
Here are the lyrics.....just in case you want to sing along! *hehe*

"Still Standing"
(feat. Ludacris)

Mama always told me
Baby, you gotta walk by faith
And not by sight
Real talk, you gotta listen
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, ooh, yeah

Oh, listen to me now, I'm gonna say it loud
So you won't be confused 'bout what we talkin' 'bout
I been through the storm, had dirt on my name
I'm still holding on, champion of the game
(They said)

Whatever, don't kill, you make you stronger
Well, I must be the world's strongest woman
See I done, done a whole lotta growin'
Everything you say, I'm already knowin'
'Cause I

I been up against ropes
Everything you're going through
I been there before, seen them all come
And I seen them all go

You can bet your last that
My head won't hit the floor, never
And I'm still standing, standing, standing, standing
I'm still standing, standing, standing, standing

I had a lover take his own in front of me
I asked God, why is this happening to me?
But I didn't fold, I held my own
And now I'm deep in love with who I belong
(This is my life)

They say with age comes wisdom
And the white flag, I can't give 'em
Tryin' to tell you how it's s'posed to be
See, this is more than just a song to me
'Cause I

I been up against ropes
Everything you're going through
I been there before, seen them all come
And I seen them all go

You can bet your last that
My head won't hit the floor, never
And I'm still standing, standing, standing, standing
I'm still standing, standing, standing, standing

I'm unbreakable, baby
Luda, yeah, it's a family affair
I may have done the things they say I did
But I'm not who they say I am

Try to throw my name in the dirt
But I really don't give a damn
I'm still standing like the statue of liberty
And I put my name in the history books
So you'll forever remember me

Remember me as the toughest warrior
Or the ultimate fighter
'Cause I'm the truth and nothing but
It's like my hands on the bible
And it's the survival of the fittest

The realest, it's not a facade
Still standing on my two feet
'Cause I'm a child of God
Do something

I been up against ropes
Everything you're going through
I been there before, seen them all come
And I seen them all go

You can bet your last that
My head won't hit the floor, never
And I'm still standing, standing, standing, standing
I'm still standing, standing, standing, standing

I been up against ropes
Everything you're going through
I been there before, seen them all come
And I seen them all go

You can bet your last that
My head won't hit the floor, never
And I'm still standing, standing, standing, standing
I'm still standing, standing, standing, standing

I'm not gonna give up, never
Come too far to look back, oh
Oh, ohh, I been there before
I've seen it, I've seen it, I've done it
I've done it, I'm done, let me live my life now

I let it go, I let God, I let it go, and I let God
Don't hate me now
I ain't who I used to be no more

I'm still standing, I'm still standing
I'm still standing, oh, I'm still standing
I'm still standing, you can't take this joy away

Linea Pelle

Last year as a celebratory gift for me getting in to uni, my parents bought me my first Linea Pelle wallet and bag.

And I have been in love with Linea Pelle ever since.

It's just so easy to coordinate with and both the wallet and the bag fit so much!
I don't want to buy bags from other brands anymore! *haha* That is how much I am in love with Linea Pelle.

I am planning to work my ass off when I start uni and save up to buy this Dylan Medium Tote in green.

It works both as a shoulder bag and a sling bag:) Isn't it just the sexiest bag ever?! *hehe*

Oh and check this out!
Yurina and I are on the

Linea Pelle website!

"After winter must come spring....."

Hello:)

So I decided to start a new blog just because I feel it is the perfect time in my life to do so.

I cannot promise that I will update my blog daily but I will try and hope that this blog will help me keep in touch with some of my very special friends that will all be going their own ways come April.

I'm still contemplating whether I should write this blog in Japanese, English or even both but for now I will stick to English. I need to re-accustom (I know that is not a word!) myself to an English speaking environment! *hehe*

And now, without further ado, I will get to the main subject of today's post:)

So yesterday (25th March) Yurina and I planned a birthday/farewell party for our dear friend, Kikuko. It's her birthday on the 29th but she will be leaving to LA on the 28th:(

We chose a restaurant called ZEST CANTINA in Roppongi and it was the PERFECT place to celebrate a birthday with a small group of people! The food was delicious and the service was absolutely amazing. It was so much fun.

After lunch we headed to Starbucks to recharge our energy! *hehe* After all the laughing and screaming, we were pretty tired. And after Starbucks, Kiku, Yurina and headed to Yurina's house for the "after-party". By the time we got to Yurina's house, we were back to our hyper selves and ended up taking tons of photos with my camera and Yurina's photo booth!

We planned to stay up all night like everyone does at sleepovers but let's just say things didn't go as planned and we ended up sleeping at 3am. We woke up at 12ish. Kikuko went to her second party and Yurina and I took pictures. AGAIN. And then I went home:(
Since graduating from high school last Thursday, I have been spending alot of time with my friends but yesterday and today was by far the most craziest and fun!

It's so weird to think that in one week, we're all gonna be going to different universities and Kikuko is gonna be miles away from us:( But I'm sure we will all stay pretty close!

I'd like to end this post with a few shout outs!

Kikuko! Have a safe trip! I am gonna miss you sooo much!
Yurina! You better plan a big birthday bash for me! *hehe*
Anna! When are you gonna take me out for my first drink?! *haha*

Ciao!
