Lady Gaga + Vanessa Hudgens

So today I went into Keibundo just to check out some new magazines and I ended up buying Gossips's Vanessa Hudgens Issue and GISELE.

They are both filled with styles and clothes I love. I am extremely satisfied!

Justin Nozuka

Last night I went to go watch Justin Nozuka live with Mina, Lorna and Miku.

Seriously, no words can describe how amazing he was.

Every song just gave me goosebumps. And when he hit the high notes, I literally thought I was gonna melt! (Okay, maybe that's a little too exaggerated but you know what I mean.....)

I will do anything to relive last night.

With the Nozuka brothers......Philip and Henry, I believe.

Justin Nozuka and His AMAZING guitarist, Mark

S.E.X.Y

Talking....

Ah, his smile is so cute.

Definitely one of the most memorable days of my life.

"When I get older, I will be stronger"

Just now I came across K'naan's song "Wavin' Flag" and fell in love with it.......so I decided to check him out on YouTube.

And I found this!

You know how in America they did a cover of "We Are The World" to raise money for Haiti?!

Well in Canada, many young Canadian artists came together and covered this K'naan song and donated all the money raised to Haiti!

I can't believe I didn't know about this! But I guess that happens when you are living in a country obsessed with America and America only!

Please check it out! It is a really good song.

I personally like Drake's rap bit!

I don't know who wrote the lyrics, Drake himself or someone else, but they are good!

"if you weren't involved before it's never too late to start
you probably think that it's too far to even have to care?
you have to know the urge to make a change lies within
well take a look at where you live what if it happened there?
and we can be the reason that they see the flag rise again"

and F.Y.I....this song is the theme song for this year's FIFA World Cup in South Africa! So you'll probably hear it sometime soon!
The original version is really good as well so if you like this one, you should check out K'naan's one!

[All]

When I get older

I will be stronger

They'll call me freedom

Just like a wavin flag

[K'naan]

Born from a throne

Older than Rome

But violent prone

Poor people zone

[Nelly Furtado]

But it's my home

All I have known

[Sam Roberts]

Where I got grown

but now its gone

[Avril Lavigne]

Out of the darkness

in came the carnage

threatening my very survival

[Pierre Bouvier of Simple Plan]

Fractured my streets

and broke all my dreams

[Tyler Connolly of Theory of a Deadman]

now Feels like defeat to wretched retreat

[All]

So we strugglin'

[Kardinal Offishall]

Fighting to eat

[All]

And we wonderin'

[Kardinal Offishall]

If we'll be free

[Jully Black]

We cannot wait for some faithful day

it's too far away so right now I'll say

[All - Chorus]

When I get older

I will be stronger

They'll call me freedom

Just like a waving flag

(And then it goes back x3)

Ahhho ahhho ahhho

[Lights]

So many wars settling scores

[Deryck Whibley of Sum 41]

All that we've been through

and now there is more

[Serena Ryder]

I hear them say love is the way

[Jacob Hoggard of Hedley]

Love is the answer that's what they say

[Emily Haines]

But were not just dreamers

of broken down grievers

[Hawsley Workman]

Our hand will reach us

and we will not see ya

[Drake]

This can't control us

no it can't hold us down

[Chin Injeti]

We gon pick it up even though we still struggling

[Pierre Lapointe]

Au nom de la survie (In the name of survival)

[All]

and we wondering

[Pierre Lapointe]

Battant pour nos vies (Fighting for our lives)

[All]

We patiently wait

for some other day

[Fefe Dobson and Esthero]

thats too far away so right now I say

[All - Chorus]

[Drake - Rapping]

Uhh... well alright

How come when the media stops covering

and there's a little help from the government

we forget about the people still struggling

and assume that its really all love again nahh

see we don't have to wait for things to break apart

if you weren't involved before it's never too late to start

you probably think that it's too far to even have to care

well take a look at where you live what if it happened there?

you have to know the urge to make a change lies within

and we can be the reason that they see the flag rise again

[Nikki Yanofsky, Drake]

When I get older

I will be stronger

They'll call me freedom

Just like a wavin' flag

[15]

and then it goes back

[Justin Nozuka]

and then it goes back

[Nikki Yanofsky]

Then it goes back

[Chorus - All]

[Justin Bieber]

When I get older

When I get older

I will be stronger

just like a waving flag

My Favourite Spot in Sophia

When the sun is out and the weather is good, my friends and I like to chill at this place outside Building #2 in Sophia.

It's the perfect place to study and get a tan! It's officially my favourite spot in Sophia. I LOVE IT!

The first two photos are from April. (I think I put them up before) The last two I took on Wednesday. Mina, Miku and I are free 2nd period on Wednesdays so when the weather is good we always chill at these benches.

In the last photo, you can kind of see this guy that we think is hot! He's the one wearing the blue shirt. You can't really see his face but he looks like Caleb Followill, lead singer of Kings of Leon.

Hot!!

There are these other two French guys in Sophia that are so handsome as well.......Lorna and I are seriously obsessed. I was telling my mother just the other day and she was like "you should pretend to drop your French textbook in front of them!"
Maybe I should....Will let you guys know if I ever do!

Ciao!

Forever 21

So today I went to Shinjuku really early just to go to the new Forever 21.

I arrived at like 10:30, a little after the store opened so it was really peaceful with hardly anyone around. I love the setting of the store and how they have an escalator that goes both ways, unlike the one in Harajuku. I also like how it's more spacious.

I was in Forever 21 for like an hour or so and there were SO many things I wanted to try/buy but I'm saving up for Okinawa so I decided on a budget seriously thought about each item.

Here are the things I ended up buying...

Two Pairs of Earrings
(the necklace I bought the other day)
Forever 21 accessories are so cute. Yes, they are cheap but the quality is amazing in that they don't break easily or change colour.
I didn't know which colour to choose for these earrings, silver or gold.....so I just got both! I do not regret it at all though! I am in love with the shape and the design!

White Top
You can't really tell from this photo because I'm wearing a white tank top underneath but this white top is quite transparent.
I thought it'll be cute if I pair it with a colourful tank top and chunky accessories.
No?!

Black High-Waist Skirt
This high-waist skirt I just had to buy! The material is so thin and perfect for summer. I was gonna buy a skirt just like this from Zara but considering the price and the quality, I'm glad I didn't! This one was only 1,050 yen and it doesn't look cheap. Well, to me it doesn't!

For lunch, I ate at this place on the 5th floor of Marui. I forgot what it was called but it was an organic cafe, a sister brand of Wired Cafe, I believe.
I ordered Spaghetti Bolognese with Kidney Beans and it was delicious! Yum!

I really needed a break from studying so this little shopping spree was just perfect. Now, I can go back to studying Religion!

These Days

So.....

I didn't get in to Sophia Express......

Kinda upset but oh well right?!

I guess I can focus more on finding a job now!!

I seriously need one...

Not just because I'm broke.....

But because people around me are working their asses off and it just makes me feel like a lazy person.

Okay, BYE!

Keith Harring

I am not really an "art" person in that I don't really go to art museums and I don't really know all that much about famous artists.

But in middle school, my art teacher introduced me to Keith Harring's work and I have been in love with him ever since!

Keith Harring stickers I bought at LOFT! Cute right?!

Ciao!
