Dr. Frankenstein - Jack Savoretti

'Cause it's not where you go when you die

It's how you live when you're alive

Who you touch and how you feel it

And it's not about the time that you have

It's how you cry and how you laugh

Who you love and how you mean it

And do you mean it

Addicted To LOOKBOOK!

I want!

Looking for sandals like these!!

Any ideas where I can find a pair like these but for a good price?!

I mean, if I had the money I'd buy these......but $300 is just not something I can afford now.....or anytime soon!!

YAY!!

The other day my mother decided to change my bed sheets!!

My room looks kind of different now! And I LOVE IT!!

Isn't the pattern and the colours so me?!

Makes me want to go to bed already! *hehe*

Ciao!

Marina's Law

So if you are a close friend of mine you will know that I love comfortable clothes, casual and simple.

I thought that becoming a university student, I would try harder to be more fashionable and dress up more but no......I am all for comfortable clothes.

BUT one thing I do do to complete my look everyday is.....ADD ACCESSORIES!

I am definitely an accessory person. I love big, dynamic, chunky accessories. I think it can change a simple outfit 180 degrees!!

Today I wore this extremely simple and boring outfit to school.

Denim Shorts + Grey T-Shirt

But I paired it with tons of accessories!

My FAVOURITES!
Bracelets I got from Accessories and friends.

Gold Bangles from Forever 21

Elephant Necklace from Accessorize
+
American Eagle Outfitters Necklace my dear friend, Yurina got me!
I LOVE IT!

Initial Earrings......Also from Yurina!!

And for shoes, I wore these sandals I got from GAP for just 1,990.
Havaianas are comfy but sometimes I want to wear something a little more stylish but not to forget easy to walk in!

So yeah, when you feel you outfit is a little plain or simple, just add accessories. A scarf or a chunky necklace. Cute shoes or maybe some bracelets.

Ciao!

In The Heights

On August 20th this year,

Anna, John, Mummy, Daddy and I are gonna go watch In The Heights.

In The Heights is a musical about this Latin community in New York and the music is just so incredibly addictive! *hehe*

We are going on opening night! I am soooooo excited!!

Kristin Cavallari

I've never been a big fan of Kristin Cavallari just because she seemed like such a b**ch in Laguna Beach.

But these days, I'm really liking her.

Well her fashion style to be exact.

Here are some recent outfits that I absolutely love!

I like how she can pull off such a casual look.....and it still looks stylish!

I especially like her purple tanktop + denim shorts outfit!!

Ciao!

LBD + LWD

These days I've been really thinking about investing in a nice dress. I know especially in Japan, you don't really get the chance to dress up and wear a pretty dress but I want one so bad!!

A Little Black Dress or a Little White Dress will do!

Here are some favourites from SHOPBOP!

This one is so simple but I probably could wear it with heels and it'll still look stylish.
I can't seem to be able to find just a good material, simple black tank top dress like this one.

I know I don't look good in one shoulder dresses because I have such wide shoulders. But this one is so sexy and sophisticated, I want! *hehe*

This one is also simple but pair it with nice heels and a clutch and you got yourself a stylish outfit!

This shape is probably the best for self-conscious people like me. With a top like this you can hide your stomach and certain places you don't want to be seen!!

Out of all the LBDs, I like this the most! I like how it looks kind of like a wrap top but it isn't! The shape, the length is just perfect!

I like the strap bit of this dress and the patterns on it.

Ah, this one is cute. That piece of cloth is perfect in so many ways. Probably makes your boobs look bigger! (Something I need!! *haha*)

This shape is actually the shape I am looking for. I love tube top dresses. I think they are just really cute and girly!

This one like the other black one is also for covering certain bits ne!! *hehe* I would pair it with a high waist belt!! Without a belt, it's just TOO simple!

Anyways, what are you favourites?!!

Something worth thinking about.........

So today in Christian Humanism, the teacher talked about philosophy and death.

Why do we fear death so much?

What is it about death that really scares us?

And it really made me think.

I am not all that scared about my own death just because if and when I die, I am not going to feel anything after. I am not religious or spiritual so to me there is no life after death. I will just peacefully lay in my coffin.

However, what scares me is the death of others, the death of loved ones. My teacher during class was like "Imagine if your parents or siblings died" And as a teacher this may be a very wrong thing to say but I did, I imagined and it was just too painful. It took a whole lot of effort to hold back tears. I just cannot imagine what my life would be like. And it pains me to think that people all over the world, at this second, this minute are losing people they love very much.

Usually I keep these feelings to myself but today, I decided to post this just because I think it is important to think of it once in a while. Trust me, you'll look at your family and friends in a different way. I think we tend to forget that people we love can slip away any moment.

In about a month, it will be a year since Sasada Sensei passed away. To many of us, his death was very sudden and shocking. We were all devastated. But thinking about it now I realise that during my last days in high school, not many people talked about him. Not because they had forgotten about him but because it is a Japanese feature to not talk about loved ones who have passed away.

Well I think it is okay to talk and think about people who have passed away. It is one way of remembering them and honoring them.

July 25th.

Although we will all be in separate places, please do not forget to think about Sasada Sensei.
